Ammonium Zirconium Carbonate
Name: Ammonium Zirconium Carbonate
Molecular Formula: ZrO(CO₃)₂ (NH₄)₂ · XH₂O
Ammonium Zirconium Carbonate (AZC) is a clear alkaline stabilized solution, containing anionic hydroxylated zirconium polymers. It has a slight ammonium odor however it is released upon evaporation. It has no odor associated after curing.
Packing: 250kg per drum or 1000kgs/IBC container or at request of the client.
Storage: To be prevented from solarization. It should be airproof and stored in cool and dry place.
Application: Used as additive in paper and textile industry, cross-link of colophony polymer.
Binder insolubilizer for paper and paperboard coatings, along with dry-laid non-woven materials
Deposit Control in the wet-end of the paper-making process
Strength additive for alkaline-sized paper
Component of water-based inks, overprint varnishes, paints, adhesives, coatings, etc.
Antimicrobial treatment for textiles and timber, especially for fixation of copper salts
Component of textile, leather and paper waterrepellent formulations
