Application:
2-Butoxy-1-propanol series is a promising environmentally friendly solvent due to its microtoxicity and pleasant odor. Used in industrial/household cleaning agent formulations, it is extremely safe and recognized by many developed countries, especially Japan. The evaporation rate is similar to that of ethylene glycol butyl ether, which is a very good substitute for the latter. It has a wide range of uses in coatings, cleaning agents, inks, leather, etc. In the dye dissolution process, it can be used instead of alcohol solvents and is a good coupling agent. In addition, 2-Butoxy-1-propanol  series can also be used as film-forming additives for water-based coatings, photosensitive adhesives, PS plate cleaning, printing, electronic chemicals, jet engine fuel additives (waterproofing agents), extractants and high boiling point solvents.
