Use:
It is used as a dispersant, and is also used to extract fatty acids from dilute fatty acid solutions,  and inert solvents for uranium ore extraction.
It is a flammable liquid. Extinguish the fire with carbon dioxide in case of fire. Non-corrosive to metals. Peroxide can be generated by the action of oxygen in the air during storage, and light can promote the formation of peroxide.
Chemical properties: stable to alkali, ether bond rupture when reacting with strong acid. Peroxides can be formed under the action of oxygen in the air.
It should be sealed and stored in the dark, and reducing agents such as ferrous sulfate, stannous chloride, sodium sulfite and other reducing agents should be added to control the formation of peroxides. Can be stored in iron, mild steel, copper or aluminum containers.
In terms of solubility, it is slightly soluble in water and can be miscible with most organic solvents. It is a good solvent for various resins. At 20 ºC, it can dissolve 0.2% (mass fraction) in water, and water can dissolve in it.  rubber, resin, and as a reaction medium for organic synthesis.
