Colourless,transparent oily liquid,b.p.215ºC(3mmHg),viscosity 12~
15 c.p.(25ºC),refractive index 1.447(25ºC).
A typical cold resisting plasticizer for polymer and its copolymer,polystyrene,cellulosic resins and synthetic rubbers. It imparts a high plasticizing efficiency,less colour change during light and heat attack,good softening property at low temperature.
Usually applied in cold-resisting agricultural film,artificial leather,wrapping layer for electric wires,and water tubes for outdoor use.
