Diisobutyl adipate is mainly used as a film-forming agent in the field of water-based coatings, it has the characteristics of low odor, low VOC, and good low-temperature film-forming effect. It can replace traditional alcohol ester products in some system formulations. It can also be used as a solvent in the production of special resins, as well as a plasticizer in fields such as cellulose and vinyl resins.
